Hair care does not have to be a laborious function of endless procedures and products to ensure beautiful and healthy hair, on the contrary, choosing the right products for your hair type and lifestyle can be achieved quickly and easily.Of course points as practicality and time spent are quite relative, so the interpretation of each will be different, my intention here is to share some products and tips that I use in my hair care and that make all the difference. I’m very interested in hair care, especially since I take care of mine most of the time by myself. (As I told in these posts here and here)
Let’s go to the list products:
1 – SHRD
I’m going to start this list with my favorite item of all time, SHRD, a protein cream that returns body and moisture to the hair, as well as creating a protection for the hair, my choice as leave-in. I discovered this product at least 10 years ago, with a group of friends who practiced surfing because of the sun, wind, sea salt they used the cream before entering the sea and after washing their hair.I apply a small amount (a dime) on damp hair and let it dry naturally, with a dryer, after the hair dries if I realize that it still needs a little more hydration, I apply a little more.

2 – Thermal Water
Using thermal water on your hair is quick, easy and has visible benefits. As well as moisturising the skin, thermal water moisturises the hair, not only the strands but also the scalp and it also gives shininess to the strands after drying your hair. (Great trick to do before brushing and leaving the strands shining.) Every time I wash my hair, I apply thermal water all the way to the roots, for those who live in countries where the water is limestone, it’s also a great way to take away the hard look that water leaves on the hair.

3 – Thermal Protector
I am not a slave to the dryer or tools like flattening iron or babyliss, but I don’t always let my hair dry naturally. I don’t forget to use a thermal protector to take care of the hair before and during the drying process. I also make sure to use a product that already has UVB / UVA protection so my hair is also protected from sunlight, this multiplies the action and use of the product, and you can use in all seasons and occasions.

4 – Scalp care shampoo and deep cleansing shampoo / detox
We usually care more about hair than scalp, but healthy scalp makes all the difference to stronger, more beautiful hair, so to avoid scalp dryness or allergy, I regularly use shampoo. It can be a scalp care product, a deep cleanser (sometimes even exfoliated). The frequency of use of this product for each will differ, it will depend on the need for each scalp.

- Invati Advanced Exfoliating Shampoo – Aveda
- Detox Shampoo – The Beauty Box (only BR)
5 – Pre Shampoo
This is a step that only came into my routine recently, still quite controversial for some, but I surrendered to the benefits of this extra care. Just like any hair treatment, I always check the need to do it or not. I will not use a product just for the sake of using it or for being new. As I dye my hair the hair loses its body, becoming thinner, porous, elastic, with pre-shampoo all these problems diminish or disappear, because the product treats the hair completely, giving a deep hydration.

- Phytomilesime – Phyto
- Gold Lust Pre-Shampoo – Oribe
6 – Quality Shampoo
I have been increasingly looking for products with natural, organic bases that have less impact on the environment (a goal that I have been striving to achieve more and more), so I seek good shampoos without parabens or sulfates, to protect the color, restore the thread. The product that attracts me is the one that already does the treatment during the wash, (because washing just for the sake of it I can only use the water), so I use hair care products from the first step, the wash.

- NaturalTech Nourishing Shampoo – Davines
- Phytomilesime Shampoo – Phyto
- Minu Shampoo – Davines
- Luminous Colour Shampoo – maria nila
7 – Treatment Mask
I do not live without treatment masks, once a week (at least) I apply a mask and let it act for 5 to 20 minutes (depends on each product and the need), this step makes all other care intensify, it helps revitalize my hair, restore its life after so much daily friction (wind, sun, etc.), and whenever I stop doing this step, I feel my hair different. One trick I learned is always to finish with a conditioner after the mask, to close the hair cuticles (as I said in this post here).

- Mascara Cabelos Danificados – Salus (only BR)
- Superfood Hydrate – Pureology
- Masque for Beautiful Color – Oribe
8 – Dry Shampoo
Since I’m from the team that washes my hair not as often (for a number of reasons, but mostly because my hair isn’t greasy), I love a good dry shampoo to hold the wash for a day longer, but also to help me style my hair, give that fresh look, an “umpf”, lift the root a little, and in my case, which I now have bangs, make her more stripped down. My tip is apply to the hair before bed, the next day the hair will be fresh and beautiful.

- Dry Shampoo with oat milk – Klorane

9 – Texturizers / Beach Spray
I’m a fan of these products because they help me to give the look I like to the strands, without much effort, or without being dependent on the dryer or any other appliance. I don’t always like to brush or babyliss, I like to make my hair healthy, so I avoid extreme use. With the beach spray or a good texturizer I can fix my hair, leaving it the way I want it without hurting the strands so badly. I often use the tactic of braiding before bed, or a high bun and step the product before, the next morning the hair has a natural movement and I apply a little more of the product to maintain the look during the day.

- Beach Babe Texturizing – Not Your Mother’s

10 – Hair Mist
Perfume for the hair. A nice smelling hair is a delight, and perfume for the hair isn’t anything new, but I discovered a Hair Mist that in addition to scent it treats, because it has argan oil in the composition. Once again the multiplication of the actions of the product, I get a fragrant hair every day and I pat the thread with these hydration particles that accompany each spray of the product.

- Orange Blossom Hair Mist – Jo Malone
- English Pear & Freesia Hair Mist – Jo Malone
- Star Magnolia Hair Mist – Jo Malone
With these 10 products, or 10 types of product categories, I am prepared for any occasion and any care. They are not all for daily use, but for a specific use in my hair care schedule. My intention is to have healthy and beautiful hair and scalp every day.
