It’s no secret that I love colourful clothes and prints, but the opposite of this thought also appeals to me, totally monochromatic and neutral looks. I think choosing a neutral colour and working the pieces on this tonal scale makes any look stylish and chic, but super modern. There is a very nice example in this post here.
Autumn came and with it the temperature began to fall, which makes me happy, because it gives me the opportunity to wear a piece that I love in any season, but now it is a necessity, the coat, so the formation of these looks that I will show started because I thought about the coat.
This coat is a great piece for the autumn season, light but warm enough when combined with other pieces, versatile to match any look, I would say it is a more fluid and oversized trench coach, which I also really like is the long length of the coat.
The first look I composed to be something more casual, with a modern look, so I opted for a wide-cut pants and more structured fabric, contrasting the fabric of the coat, finished with a silk shirt to bring a more elegant element without losing the chance. The boots in the same shade to lengthen and thus bend the hemline and bring a cooler element to the look.

In the second assembly I chose a knit dress, (a versatile piece in the cold months) that is more tight to the body, creating an interaction of contrasts with the coat, different fabrics, different weights. I opted for another boot on the same scale of shades, but with a high barrel and a hat, which undoubtedly made it look more interesting. I thought of the hat almost as the third piece, I love hair and head accessories, they make any simple look get more fashion information. This combination of dress, coat, boot and hat is so practical for the autumn, but also makes it a versatile option, changing from a sneaker to a jacket, leather or denim, to look completely different.
For the last look of this series of three came a surprise for me, which I thought would be the most unpretentious turned into my favorite.

For the last look of this series of three came a surprise for me, which I thought would be the most unpretentious turned into my favorite.
I brought a classic, pleated skirt (with a shorter length than I usually wear, between mini and midi, which I liked a lot) combined with an oversized jumper, the high boot from the second look and the coat that was repeated over the three outfits and to complete, another head accessory I love, the beret. The result was relaxed, with a French charm that brings elegance to the look.

With strong or neutral colours my intention is always to find the combinations that make sense for my day to day and that converse with my style. From casual to elegant (which is basically a matter of perception) I like to feel comfortable and to be able to combine a piece in many different ways or with as many looks as possible, this makes my wardrobe a place of endless possibilities.
